A 6 month KAL to create a 24 mini mitten advent calendar. Knit one mitten per week to have
the full set by December 1 st .
Skills required to knit the mittens
Knit small circumferences in the round (dpns, magic loop, etc…)
Work two color stranded colorwork
24 weeks out is mid June
Dates: 2nd Wednesday of every month beginning Wednesday, June 12th from 1-3

226g/1054yds fingering weight yarn in at least four colors. (This can be fun in minis f
people want all different colors.)
Sample uses Red - 77g/359yds, White - 67g/312yds, Light grey - 76g/355yds, Dark grey -
6g/28yds
1 set size 1US/2.25mm double-pointed needles (or size needed to get gauge) (or needed
used for your preferred method of knitting small circumferences in the round.)
Optional: short 4” or 5” dpns are great for doing the thumb
stitch marker (3 if you wish to mark the thumb gusset)
scrap fingering weight yarn
1 st meet up
Go through the pattern, talk about thumb, shorty needles, hanging loop, creating
personal charts
